Wye Oak made their national television debut tonight on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, unleashing Civilian cut “Holy Holy” for the masses. While Jenn Wasner performed a vocal-guitar rendition that was faithful to the record, drummer Andy Stack’s ambidextrous keyboard and percussion skills caught the attention of Roots drummer ?uestlove: “@wyeoak’s drummer just topped billy ray cyrus’ drummer for most inventive performance on a late night show!” Watch Wye Oak rock Late Night above (via Audio Perv).

I must insist you listen to this. If you listen to nothing else today you have to listen to this. I’m rarely this adamant about it but you needs this in your life. It’s the solo project of Jenn from Wye Oak and this is for the Friends Records 2011 comp.
